S.T.E.M. Club
Learning with us is fun!
As our newest club, the STEM Club was founded to promote (S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)nngineering and (M)athematics in an innovative, informal and fun way, thus encouraging children and young people's interest in subjects such as robotics, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and many others. In addition, the STEM Club contributes to facilitate access of the low-income children and young people of Itacaré to the new technologies and advanced sciences in an extracurricular environment.
Aware of the importance of technology for current and future generations, we also have been offering free IT and programming classes, from basic to advanced, to the local community of Itacaré since 2023. The aim is to reduce the knowledge gap as well as the economic gap for future generations. A sample of the topics being taught include the following: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, operating systems such as Windows and Linux, block coding and Arduino robotics. The target audience is high school students between the ages of 12 and 17.
