Gender Equality Policy
ETIV is proud to present its brand new Gender Equality Policy (October, 2019). The issues in Passagem places the neighbourhood at risk and makes it vulnerable to gender inequality. People living here are among the ones who have greater vulnerability to violence, discrimination, health issues and poverty.
Since more than 90% of ETIV students were girls in 2018, gender equality is essential to achieve our goals which are directly linked to women’s empowerment. The Gender Equality Policy aims to guide the development and implementation of our projects and to support the achievement of equality between women and men. It is important, now more than ever, to commit to incorporating gender equality in all of our work to ensure sustainable development and to overcome inequality on any ground, be it gender, class, race or ethnicity.
